Thank you for visiting me here in the Cotswolds.
One of my 2011 New Year Resolutions was to start writing a blog. It's something that I have been inspired to do having read all sorts of wonderful crafty blogs full of vibrant pictures and things to make and do. I'm not sure whether I will be able to live up to such aspirations, but I do want to start blogging about what I see and do every day - if anything it's to chronicle it for myself (I am far too lazy to keep a diary or a scrapbook).
Anyway, a little about me. I am happily married to my very long suffering husband, and we have two lovely children together. We also share our home with two hounds and a multitude of chickens, and if I had my way we'd have many more furry and feathered friends here.
I want to write about my family, my dogs, my chickens, country life, village shows, learning to crochet (badly), baking, running and my penchant for all things sparkly. Hopefully there'll be plenty of other topics to blog about along the way.
